Acrylic Ground Basketball Courts
Acrylic basketball ground application is a ground type suitable for basketball, economic and easy to apply and the most preferred basketball courts. Acrylic basketball ground has elastic and non-slippery characteristics. It is a ground covering that is durable against different climate conditions and intensive usage traffic, and not causes breaking and cracking. Acrylic basketball court grounds are applied in three different ways based on their covering layers.
Tartan Ground Basketball Courts
Tartan basketball ground application consists of two layers and it has water permeability characteristics. EPDM layer is place in upper part and SBR granular is placed on lower part. Tartan basketball grounds of Dizayn Sports meet needs of basketball lovers with their characteristics such as its flexibility, impact absorption, non-slippery, UV resistance, durability against different climate conditions.
Parquet Flooring Basketball Courts
Parquet basketball flooring covering is a high-quality ground preferred mostly for indoor basketball courts. Polyurethane Ground Basketball Courts
Polyurethane basketball ground covering is a protective ground covering applied on reinforced concrete surface. Polyurethane covering that can be applied in indoor and outdoor places, is a ground type that is flexible, not making slipping and wearing, applied as single peace, consisting various color options. Polyurethane ground covering can create mat, bright and colored surfaces.
Basketball Court Sizes
Even though sizes of basketball courts differ from each other, long side of the court is determined as 28 meters and short side is determined as 15 meters according to FIBA standards. There is a line right in the middle of the field dividing into two. Jump ball is made on the centre circle placed on that line. Basketball hoops placed on short sides of the field, are placed on 1,2 meter within the line. Basketball hoop sizes are 1,8 x 1,2 meter. Ground clearance of the basket is 3,5 meters, its diameter is 45 cm. The distance from projection of the basket on the ground to three-point field goal line is 6,75 meters. Free throw line that is drawn in parallel with short side, is a line at 5,80 meters distance to short side and it is a 3,60 meters line. Three-point field goal line is placed at 0,90 meter distance to long side.
